Dustin Flint of Team Berger has won the 2024 Texas State Rifle Association Smallbore Silhouette Championship for an unprecedented sixth time with a score of 146/160.

The 2024 Texas State Rifle Association Smallbore Silhouette Championship was held on November 9th and 10th on the Addicks Range at Bayou Rifles in Houston, TX. The two-day match featured two 40-shot stages for Standard Rifle and two 40-shot stages for Hunter.

Flint, competing with Lapua Super Long Range ammunition, brought home a third-place finish on Saturday in Standard Rifle. On Sunday, he finished first with a score of 74/80 and secured the win.

Smallbore Silhouette shooting is a fun and challenging shooting discipline that has competitors taking aim at a variety of steel chickens, pigs, turkeys, and rams. Shooters, standing and unsupported, take aim at four banks of silhouettes at increasing distances, shooting 40 targets in all. For every silhouette knocked down, the competitor earns one point. Smallbore Silhouette competitors are shooting at distances of 40, 60, 77, and 100 meters, while High Power Silhouette distances are 200, 300, 385, and 500 meters.
