Team Berger member Dustin Flint won the 2023 Louisiana Silhouette Championship for the fifth straight year, compiling a Grand Aggregate score of 181/200.
The 2023 Louisiana Silhouette Championship was held May 6-7 at the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Range in Gonzales, LA. The two-day match had shooters competing in Smallbore Silhouette on Saturday and Air Rifle Silhouette on Sunday. In Silhouette competition, shooters engage ten chickens at 40 meters, ten pigs at 60 meters, ten turkeys at 77 meters, and ten rams at 100 meters for each 40-shot relay.
On Saturday, Flint scored a 54/80 in smallbore standard and 55/80 in hunter rifle, good for second place. Flint fired a 72/80 in the two air rifle divisions on Sunday, landing him in a tie with Micha Waguespack. To secure the Championship, Flint competed in a shoot-off and came out on top.
Flint will compete next at the Greg Sullivan Memorial Lever Action Silhouette Championship, May 20-21st.
