Congratulations to Morgun King on being crowned the 2020 National Rifle League (NRL) Champion! Morgun, a member of Team MPA, attended the 2020 NRL Championships on May 1-2, 2021. The match took place in Earlsboro, OK, where shooters engaged targets from 300 to 1,200 yards, with the majority being between 400-880 yards. Not only was the top shooter that weekend, but Morgun also came away on top in the 2020 NRL points race!
Morgun shared with us, “Over the past 12-months, I’ve won a total of nine PRS/NRL matches. Seven of the victories were using Berger 6mm 109 Grain Long Range Hybrid Target (LRHT) bullets. The other two, including the NRL Finale, were using Berger 6.5 mm 153.5 Grain LRHT’s” Both of these bullets have both higher Ballistic Coefficients (BCs) and BC consistency thanks to our new Meplat Reduction System.
Morgun also commented, “I’m attending veterinary school, and with my busy schedule I’ve discovered that load development is optional in my rifles when choosing Berger Bullets, the results speak for themselves.”
