The Southwest Nationals was held February 15-19th at the Ben Avery Shooting Facility in Phoenix, AZ. Hosted by the Desert Sharpshooters Rifle Club, the Southwest Nationals is the “must-attend” event for competitive long-range shooters around the world. The Southwest Nationals features F-Open, F-TR, and Sling disciplines. Competitors from over 9 different countries were in attendance.

After his podium finish, Skaret commented, “The Berger 153.5gr LR Hybrid Target bullets paired with Vihtavuori N160 and a Lapua 6.5 Creedmoor SPR case, crushed the extremely tricky winds encountered this past weekend. The performance of this combination provided me a distinct advantage due to its wind drift performance.”

Skaret will compete next at the NRA Mid-Range Nationals this coming April in Phoenix, AZ.
