Congratulations Morgun King on your 2021/2022 National Rifle League (NRL) Championship win! Morgun, a member of Team Berger, brought home both the season and championship match titles for the second year in a row! The NRL Championships, which were presented by Burris Optics, took place on April 22 to April 24 of 2022. This match was located at the Cameo Shooting & Education Complex in Grand Junction, Colorado and consisted of 18 different stages with ranges from 400 to 1,200 yards.
This year Morgun was shooting our 6.5mm 156gr Elite Hunter bullets, which are designed with the same industry-leading hybrid ogive design that our target bullets are designed with. While these ones are made with a thinner jacket that allows rapid expansion on game, they still boast an optimized hybrid design built for efficiency, reduced wind-drift, and minimal seating depth sensitivity, making them a reliable bullet for both on a hunt and at a competition, as Morgun proved with his victory.
“Berger bullets continue to do their job over and over again. Now, for the second year in a row, I have taken my 6.5mm Creedmoor to the National Rifle League season championship and returned with both the championship match win and the season title,” Morgun shared with us. “I believe Berger Bullets are the most consistent available, and I cannot think of a better way to prove that point than by winning back-to-back season titles. Obviously, a good bullet is not the only factor in winning, but a bullet that flies the same every time at every match all year, is an essential ingredient to the recipe for success.”
Good luck at your next match Morgun!
